The Pitt Meadows Lions Club is initiating a program to provide dog guides to people in need in the Ridge Meadows area.
These dogs are provided/trained by the Lions Clubs Foundation of Canada which is in Ontario.
Depending on their expertize, these dogs can range in costs of $2,000 – $40,000.
We have selected two Autism dogs for two people at a cost of $24,000. In Maple Ridge
We would like to involve the people of our two communities in this fund-raising effort.
The people of Ridge Meadows have been very supportive of our initiatives in the past and we eagerly solicit your support now.
- All funds collected go directly to the project. There are no service fees.
- Tax receipts $20 plus are available and will be issued by Lions Club Foundation of Canada
- Will need name, address, phone number for tax receipts.
- Donations can be made by cash, cheque, or E-Transfer
- Cheques can be mailed to P M Lions 12479 Harris rd. Pitt Meadows V3Y 2J4. Made out to LFC
- Cash donations can be made at the “Dog Thermometer” in the Pitt Meadows Rec Centre. And other stores in our communities.
